anticlimax of the year

I watched DatelineNBC last night and the show was about "Julie Fernworth, a homemaker, a wife and mother of two. She lives in Texas and...blah, blah, blah" The 'blah' is where one autumn day she received a spam email containing porn. She was very upset.
But then a few days later she was pushed too far when she received spam email porn containing farm animals.
Skip 13 minutes of useless buildup (emotional distress, tears, yeah yeah yeah)to the actual story and we end up with undercover Dateline reporters trying to find out who sent that email. First they went to New York I think where they talked to some old dude through a door accusing him of sending those spam emails. Fine "investigative journalism".
Next their leads lead them to Toronto! And to a building that I once briefly worked in! I knew there was something creepy about that place.
After Toronto they went to one more city and after that to Las Vegas. And to each person they encountered on their 'investigation' they always began with "this is Julie Fernworth, a homemaker, a wife and mother of two. She lives in Texas and...blah, blah, blah why did you send her the email about the farm animals?"
One thing I forgot to mention that one of the undercover investigative journalists was confined to a motorized wheelchair. I find it funny that when trying to get to the low life, scum of the world, they expect wheelchair access along the way. They usually had to get a couple of the cronies to help him and his wheelchair up to the service elevator accessed by a stroll through the back alley of the building and by a row of cardboard boxes that were the homes of some bums(They ain't homeless, they got boxes but they ain't got jobs so they're bums).
Anyway, so after countless interviews, tons of documentation and just a tireless effort that took months and months, they finally found the man that could be held responsible for sending out the spam-farm animal porn.
"Ok, so what do you want?" was his response. An excellent question as there is no law against what he did.
So the reporters did the only thing they could: They called up "Julie Fernworth, a homemaker, a wife and mother of two. She lives in Texas and...blah, blah, blah" and they put her on the phone with this criminal mastermind and asked him to apologize. And he did. End of story. And there you got the anticlimactic event of the year. Perhaps even the decade.

Speaking of anticlimactic endings...how about the build-up of the McLevin-Thompson-Bluffs rivalry, heading into week 14 of STF with everything still up for grabs, only to be ruined by Thompson's inability to field a team last week...making the remaining matches meaningless.

    Cap'n

Kamila, it wasn't that it was bad(it was about porn afterall)it's just the ending was a dissapointment. I guess it was silly of me to expect the wheelchair reporter to jump up, tear his clothes off and start riding a sheep around the place.
