Hogwash?
I read this in another blog and wonder if there's any truth to it(I've taken the liberty to correct spelling/grammar errors):
"If you mix 10 gm salts in a glass of water and stir it, it disappears. Then mix 10more grams, again it disappears. At 50gm or 60gm it takes some time to dissolve and at 100gms it hardly dissolves. This is called Saturation. Once the saturation period reaches, what ever book you read, what ever movie you see, what ever music you listen it doesn't matter how much valuable it may be, simply will not able to reach the intended mind. This stage appears for every 2 months, as I observed. This is the time, you need to detach from your routine, do some thing else, unlearn all the things to start learning again." -http://hour4am.blogspot.com/

I've been told something similar by a professor once. Aparently, when studying, the mind reached its saturation point after 40 mins. If you don't take at least a 5 minute break, whatever else you try to cram in there, simply won't stick - as well as it should!
This 2 month occurrence,is that your personal saturation point, or the general threshold for everyone?
