It All Stays in Vegas

I participate in a discussion forum about tennis from time to time and I found this post to be quite funny. The context is that there was a recent tournament in Las Vegas and all the trophies were won by black players.
So this led to some posters of the forum to become a little 'prideful'.

"One can root for whomever one wants, for whatever reason he wants. If a player's blackness is what spins your wheels, then more power to you if you want to root for the black guy. Good on ya.The real tragedy here is this blurb...

Yeah, way to go, Lockie. Way to achieve by being the same race as somebody else. As I reflect on it, I am feeling a rush of accomplishment for all the achievements I've suddenly realized I have a claim to, for being a white guy. I deserve more credit and more thanks for ushering in the idea of democracy, for example. And for developing that polio vaccine. Division of labor and the assembly line? Me. Walked on the moon? Me. Holds every noteworthy record in the history of professional tennis? You know who. Never mind that I personally had nothing to do with any of these events. I get credit because of the color of my skin.

Booyah!

PS - Love the Aretha avatar."

Well, I found it funny. And I don't think it's racist either.
In seriousness, it's not only 'the sins of the father' is it?
